Throughout this week of Remembrance it was humbling to get around the riding & meet with veterans & supporters. It was also great to see children from grade primary & university students from CBU wearing their poppies in commemorating veterans & expressing our shared appreciation & gratitude.
On November 11th we pause to remember and give thanks to the men and women who sacrificed their lives to preserve our freedom.
To all those who fought for freedom and peace, we owe a debt of gratitude. To all those who are currently serving around the world, we say thank you.
On Remembrance Day, wreaths will be laid in memory of Veterans and Peacekeepers for their contributions toward Canada and the life we enjoy today.
If you meet a veteran or solider, please pause to show them your support and gratitude.
